West Ham could 'listen to offers' for £34m star at London Stadium

West Ham could potentially listen to offers for Said Benrahma this summer, according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth.

The £34m-rated attacker has spent two seasons at the London Stadium, but the Hammers could look to cash in on him this window.

According to the Guardian, West Ham are open to selling the Algeria international this summer, a decision which could allow them to invest in other areas on the pitch.

Benrahma joined from Brentford for £30m in the summer of 2020 and has gone on to score 11 goals and chip in with 13 assists in 80 appearances for the Londoners.

He was particularly impressive at the beginning of last season, directly contributing to five goals in West Ham’s opening five Premier League fixtures.

But Benrahma would lay on just one assist in the next three months and the report states that David Moyes has been left frustrated about his ability to influence games regularly in the final third.

Only Jarrow Bowen and Michail Antonio ended up chipping in with more goals and assists, but Moyes’ frustrations over Benrahma’s inconsistencies could mark the end of his stay in east London.

He told GIVEMESPORT: “I think they’ll be looking for a striker. There’s talk of Said Benrahma. If they want to fund even more money into that area, they would be prepared to listen to offers for him. I’m yet to get that fully confirmed, but that seems to be the talk.”
