'We transformed our home after buying entire kitchen for £50 off Facebook Marketplace'

A savvy woman has left people stunned with her incredible house transformation, snapping up kitchen units for a mere £50.

We all have those spots in our homes we'd love to spruce up or completely overhaul, but let's face it - the cost can be eye-watering. With bills soaring, food prices hitting the roof, and countless other outgoings, the budget for creating your "dream" home might seem like a fantasy. However, Louise, a mum-of-three, argues that you don't need to break the bank to give your living space a new lease of life.

The Banbury-based mum, who shares her home with her husband Peter and their children, is a DIY and styling enthusiast. Her knack for transforming spaces has attracted over 13,000 followers on Instagram, where she chronicles her home makeover journey.

Online, where she goes by @thestylepad_uk, Louise is known for hunting down car boot sale treasures and isn't shy about repurposing materials from skips. She recently stumbled upon an entire kitchen set and oven on Facebook Marketplace, all for just £50.

Her once-basic kitchen now dazzles in a lush green hue with marble-pattern worktops and chic gold accents. In a brief video, she shared how she pulled off the transformation, leaving viewers gobsmacked.

Louise revealed: "We found a second hand kitchen on Facebook Marketplace and decided to turn it into the kitchen of our dreams. With the help of my father-in-law we got to work ripping out the cellar's kitchen - all the drawers, doors, carcasses and oven - which was included in the deal."
