We 'signed' Victor Osimhen for Manchester United and striker question was answered

With Manchester United looking to improve their squad in the summer, Napoli striker Vicor Osimhen is on the club's radar amid a potential move to Old Trafford.

Following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, Wout Weghorst was added to United's squad in January as temporary cover. But, there are better options available than the Dutchman, and Erik ten Hag is expected to target a new striker in the summer when Weghorst's loan expires.

MEN Sport understands a world-class striker is a priority for Ten Hag and Osimhen fits the bill. Known for his electric pace, untraceable movement and deadly finishing ability, the 24-year-old has notched 21 goals in 25 games so far for Napoli.

With his side currently 18 points clear at the top of the Serie A and beating Liverpool to top spot in their Champions League group, Osimhen has been pivotal in Napoli's successful season. The Nigerian international also admitted that the Premier League is "an ambition of all players", making his desire to move to England in the future clear to see.
