'We need Pau and Timber' - Manchester United fans react to Raphael Varane injury news

Manchester United fans have all been saying the same thing after Raphael Varane went off injured during France's Nations League clash with Denmark.

France were leading 1-0 when injury struck for the United central defender. As Varane stretched to control the ball, he injured himself and dropped to the floor.

Physios treated Varane on the pitch but the decision was made that his evening was over, with William Saliba taking his place on the field. It is yet another injury following a season of bad luck for the France international.

Varane's debut season at Old Trafford was littered with injuries. His various different knocks ranged from hamstring to groin problems, with the World Cup winner ultimately playing fewer league games than deputy defender Victor Lindelof.

United fans on Twitter felt as though they were experiencing deja vu on Friday night when the 29-year-old hit the deck. Here is how they responded to the news.
