'We are still there' - Pep Guardiola rates Man City chances of winning another treble
Pep Guardiola believes Manchester City have only a 0.01% chance of winning another treble but he praised his side for inserting themselves into the conversation at this stage of the season.
The Blues have reasserted their grip on the Premier League with a five-game winning streak since the Club World Cup and they have favourable draws in the Champions League last-16 against FC Copenhagen and in the FA Cup fifth round at Luton Town.
City could return to the top of the Premier League for the first time since mid-November if they beat Everton on Saturday lunchtime, although it might only be for a few hours if Liverpool beat Burnley at Anfield. But the Blues have at least put themselves in a strong position in all three competitions that they won last season.

That saw them become just the second English team to win a treble but the bookmakers make them a 10/1 chance to repeat the feat this season, although Guardiola has a very different view on the likelihood of doing so.
"This isn't a fairy tale, it's more complicated than that. Try to beat Everton and we will see what happens," he said.
"We have 99.99% possibility that we are not going to win the treble because [we should] never, never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever have done it. The chances to do it again are like this.
"If it was easy, another team - United in that time - would do it again. It’s not easy, not even winning at Brentford.
