Watford vs Crystal Palace: Prediction, kick off time, TV, live stream, team news, h2h results

Roy Hodgson welcomes former club Crystal Palace to Vicarage Road on Wednesday evening as he bids to breathe further life into Watford’s survival bid.

While Hodgson’s impact was far from instant, the win over Aston Villa has at least given them a chance of survival and, as we’ve seen before, the 74-year-old is capable of pulling off great escapes and riding waves of momentum.

For Palace, Patrick Vieira certainly deserves credit for how he’s progressed this team after the Hodgson era and, while there are no real concerns as to a potential relegation, his side need to start picking up wins in order to stop their season petering out.

Here’s everything you need to know.

The Premier League game is scheduled for a 7.30pm GMT kick-off on Wednesday February 23, 2022.

Vicarage Road will host.

TV channel: The game will not be broadcast live on TV in the UK.

João Pedro and Juraj Kucka could come back into the side having missed the Villa win but face late fitness tests. Nicolas Nkoulou, meanwhile, is still not ready to return.

For Palace, Conor Gallagher is likely to be restored to the starting lineup after sitting out the Chelsea loss due to the terms of his loan move.

Watford have their tails up and Hodgson is a master of these games.

Watford to win 1-0.

Watford wins: 45

Draws: 28

Crystal Palace wins: 50
