WATCH | 'To be coached by a legend is an honour': Foster gives first interview as Burnley player
Bafana Bafana forward Lyle Foster has given his first official interview as a Burnley player after securing a four-and-a-half-year deal with the English outfit this week.
The 22-year-old was full of smiles as he is about to fulfil a life-long dream of playing in the United Kingdom and possibly the Premier League next season.
Burnley look favourites to be promoted to the English top-flight next season as they are currently top of the log in the Championship in Vincent Kompany's first campaign as a manager.
Speaking to Burnley's official website, Foster expresses his excitement to work under the former Manchester City captain.
"I've been following and watching a lot of Burnley's games recently and I really, really enjoy the style of play," Foster said.
"[Vincent Kompany] is a great coach, for me just to be coached by a legend like him is an honour for me.
"I grew up watching him play, I've played one game against him and now him being my coach and getting to learn and absorb that knowledge every day, for me is a dream come true."
