WATCH | Rassie would be 'surprised' if Sacha chose England: 'We'll never try convince anyone'

Springbok director of rugby Rassie Erasmus was rather coy on Tuesday regarding speculation over Stormers sensation Sacha Mngomezulu's future in South Africa.

A report last week noted that England coach Eddie Jones is keen to convince the 20-year-old Junior Springbok captain to switch allegiance as he holds a British passport.

While intimating that Mngomezulu has a strong chance of featuring in the South Africa A side on their tour to the UK - along with the Springboks - Erasmus also suggested that the youngster is yet to provide an emphatic answer to him on where he stands.

Last week, Stormers coach John Dobson made mention of the utility back being under contract until 2025 at the franchise while the player himself previously stated he wants to play for the Boks.
