Watch: "Khamosh Rahein", Iftikhar Ahmed Fumes After Fan Calls Him 'Chachu'

Pakistan all-rounder Iftikhar Ahmed got angry at a fan who called him 'chachu' during the second T20I against New Zealand in Hamilton on Sunday. Notably, Iftikhar's nickname is 'chachu' (uncle) which was given to him by Babar Azam. He has been often referred to as 'chachu' by his teammates and fans of cricket. However, Iftikhar wasn't happy with a fan calling him by the same while he was fielding near the boundary at the Seddon Park. The players asked the fan to not call him 'chachu', to which the fan replied saying that he is a fan of him.

"Khamosh rahein (Keep quiet)," Iftikhar was heard as saying in a viral video.

Coming back to the match, New Zealand defeated Pakistan by 21 runs to go 2-0 up in the five-match series.

However, New Zealand's defeat came at the expense of Kane Williamson's injury, with the former captain set to be ruled out for the remainder of the series.

Williamson was already set to miss the third game on Wednesday, and with the first Test against South Africa less than three weeks away, head coach Gary Stead said his star batsman would probably sit out the final two games as well. 

"With the test matches so close as well and in the big scheme of things (they are) a higher priority I think we'll try and make sure he's right for that," Stead said.

Williamson scored 26 off 15 before retiring hurt in Sunday's second encounter. Tim Seifert is expected to replace Williamson in the batting line, with Stead indicating Seifert
