Watch Gerwyn Price land TWO 9-darters in spectacular Premier League Darts triumph

Gerwyn Price produced two nine-darters across three stunning victories as he won Premier League Night Three in Belfast on Thursday night in spectacular style.

The world number one started his evening by averaging 108.54 in a 6-3 win over Michael Smith, winning the final leg with a 170 finish and, incredibly, that was not the most memorable performance of his evening.

This set-up a blockbuster semi-final with Michael van Gerwen, which the Iceman edged 6-5 with an even better average of 108.90 thanks to his first nine-darter of the night along the way.

The Welshman was into the final where James Wade awaited and Price dipped all the way down to an average of 105.32 against the Machine, smashing in a second nine-darter en route to a 6-4 win and the £10,000 bonus for winning the night’s tournament.

The second nine of the night came in the third leg against Wade and set Price on course to win the night…

With Price’s other-worldly scoring and finishing, with 12 180s across the evening helping him end the night with an average of 107.5 over his three wins.

The world number one revealed after the win that he had told Wade he fancied hitting a second nine-darter against him in the final.

‘I said to James in the backroom I’m going to hit two this game,’ Price told Sky Sports. ‘I felt like I was. Tonight I felt like I couldn’t miss.

‘Michael played well against me, that’s the best game me and James have ever had, I’m just grateful that I’m on the right end
