Aaron Ramsey made an instant impact at his new club as the former Rangers loanee scored with his first touch for Nice in their Ligue 1 clash with Toulouse.

The ex-Arsenal and Juventus star climbed off the bench in the 77th minute and levelled within a minute as he earned his new side a point on the road and put behind his Light Blues disappointment to get off to a flier in France. His joy came as his former club made it two wins from two in the Premiership at the weekend ahead of their crunch Champions League third qualifying round return.

Antonio Colak got off the mark for Rangers before the returning Alfredo Morelos made sure of the points in a 2-0 win over Kilmarnock.

All focus now turns to Union Saint-Gilloise as the Light Blues bid to overturn a two goal deficit at a packed out Ibrox.
