Wales v Scotland team announcement LIVE: Matt Sherratt names side

Interim Wales head coach Matt Sherratt will today name his team for Saturday's Six Nations clash with Scotland.

After replacing Warren Gatland last month, Sherratt's first game in charge against Ireland saw Wales produce a significantly improved performance, marked by exciting individual displays and a cohesive attacking structure.

While it proved to be yet another defeat - with Wales' losing run now standing at 15 successive Tests - the positive display has brought some much-needed feel-good factor back to Welsh rugby.

As a result, Sherratt is expected to stick with largely the same matchday 23 for the trip to Murrayfield, with there set to be no changes in the starting team. Incredibly, this would be the first time Wales have named an unchanged XV since facing Australia in the pool stages of the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

However, the interim boss is also set to bring hooker Dewi Lake into the matchday squad after the Ospreys star returned to the Welsh camp last week. The 25-year-old missed the start of the Six Nations after having surgery on a bicep injury but has recovered in time for Wales' final two matches and is expected to feature off the bench in Edinburgh.

Sherratt will name his team this afternoon, with the announcement scheduled for around 1pm. Follow along below for live updates.
