Wales U20 v France U20 Live: Kick-off time, TV channel and score updates

Wales U20s are looking to bounce back from a bruising defeat to Ireland as they face France at Cardiff Arms Park in the penultimate round of the U20s Six Nations.

Head coach Richard Whiffin has made three changes to the side that started the 43-8 defeat to Ireland, with Macs Page replacing Louie Hennessey in midfield and Harri Ford taking over from Harri Wilde at fly-half. Ospreys star Morgan Morse also returns to the line-up having been rested for the trip to Cork.

Elsewhere, Kian Hire returns at tighthead with Sam Scott dropping to the bench while Osian Thomas switches from the back row to the second row. Lucas de la Rua moves back to blindside, with Luca Giannini earning his first start of the campaign at openside, while three players, Tom Golder, Ellis Price and Aidan Boschoff, could all earn their first caps from the bench.

Whiffin's side got off to a flying start in this year's tournament as they beat Scotland in the opening round, but have since lost to England in a fiery contest and come off second best to Grand Slam champions Ireland. The coach is fully aware of the daunting prospect that awaits his young side tonight, but said his side are up to the challenge.

“They are a very strong team," he said of France. "They have a lot of boys playing in the Top 14 and Pro D2 and we know whatever team they put out will be a tough challenge but it’s one we are looking forward to as we think there are good opportunities there for us to hurt them. If we kick poorly they will be a threat but we have a game plan where we think we can challenge them aerially and on the ground."
