Wales team announcement live updates as Warren Gatland names side to face France in Six Nations

Warren Gatland will make his final Wales team announcement of the 2023 Six Nations later today ahead of Saturday's clash with France in Paris.

Wales have one win under their belt from the tournament so far, a 29-17 victory over Italy last weekend, and face a daunting task in going head to head with in-form Les Bleus, who annihilated England 53-10 at Twickenham in round four.

Liam Williams and Scott Baldwin are ruled out of the finale through injury, while Christ Tshiunza has not made the cut for the matchday 23 and did not travel to Nice, where Wales have spent the week preparing.

It remains to be seen whether Gatland will throw inexperienced centre duo Joe Hawkins and Mason Grady in the line of fire against daunting opposition once again, or recall the likes of George North and Nick Tompkins. The forward pack, which went relatively well against Italy, could remain unchanged.

Gatland will name his Wales side just after noon today, before holding a press conference to explain his selection decisions.
