Wales team announcement LIVE as Steve Tandy names XV to face Argentina
Steve Tandy will announce his first Wales team this morning to face Argentina in their autumn international opener on Sunday.
The new Wales head coach faces a tough campaign, with Japan, New Zealand and South Africa all following on from this weekend's Test against the Pumas.
Tandy named his 39-man squad for the November clashes last month, with five uncapped players - Brodie Coghlan, Danny Southworth, James Fender, Morgan Morse and Louie Hennessey - all included, while there was a recall for Rhys Carre, who was selected for the first time since 2023.
The Saracens prop is set for an immediate return to the team this Sunday - but it appears Louis Rees-Zammit has missed out on a starting spot.
Earlier this week Wales confirmed that Rees-Zammit had won his race to be fit for this weekend but whether he makes the 23 for this Sunday's clash remains to be seen.
The team is expected to be announced on Friday morning.
