Wales press conference live as injured stars to get vital scan results
Wales are today assessing the severity of the injury problems they face following defeat to England at Twickenham.
Captain Dewi Lake suffered a knee injury at a ruck, while Taine Plumtree left the field in pain with a shoulder problem that looked worrying.
Initial details were vague in the immediate aftermath but there could be further news today after the players undergo scans.
Warren Gatland said on Saturday: "Dewi looks like he's got a bit of a knee issue and Taine has a shoulder issue which we'll get scanned: "Dewi is pretty gutted and pretty disappointed. He's gone to jackal on the ball, Owen Farrell has tried to roll him, and he's ended up landing on his leg. It's unfortunate and it looks like he's got a knee injury but we don't know the extent of it or how bad it is."
Elsewhere, Ryan Elias and Dafydd Jenkins are also expected to be absent for a number of weeks, with Wales beginning their World Cup campaign on September 10 against Fiji.
