Maya Jama announces hosting gig for first ever Love Island spin-off show with UK 'favourites' set to star

Maya Jama has announced a brand new hosting gig as she's been chosen to present the first ever Love Island spin-off show. The 29-year-old TV presenter has revealed there will be a new version of the hit ITV2 dating programme coming to screens called 'Love Island Games'.

The Love Island UK host, who took over the role from Laura Whitmore this year to host both the winter and summer series, will head to Fiji to host a new take on the popular dating show, which usually sees singletons 'couple up' in a bid to find love.

The tenth series of Love Island UK ended in July this year, with Ian Stirling as narrator, and saw the winners Jess Harding and Sammy Root take home £50,000. Love Island Games, which is reportedly coming in November, reports The Mirror, will be a different format to what UK viewers are used to seeing.

Clapping and beaming with excitement, she then continued: "It's going to be amazing. Your favourites from Love Island UK, USA and Australia, plus some more are going to be over there. So who do you want to come back and snatch the crown? I'm off."

As well as her presenting work, Maya has landed a number of lucrative fashion and beauty deals since becoming the face of Love Island. She is now the face of Rimmel London make-up and last week was
