Wales 0-1 Poland: Swiderski strike condemns Rob Page's men to Nations League relegation

Wales were beaten 1-0 by Poland to ensure they were relegated from the top tier of the Nations League.

Karol Swiderski struck the only goal of the game at Cardiff City Stadium in the second-half as the visitors clinched all three points to leave Rob Page's side at the bottom of the group with just one point from six matches - with Wales set to return to League B for the next edition of the competition.

Nevertheless, despite a frustrating Nations League campaign, the Red Wall were able to revel in the fact that their first World Cup appearance in 64 years was now fewer than two months away.

Page made four changes to the side that started the 2-1 loss to Belgium on Thursday night, with two of those being enforced.
