Virgil van Dijk brushed Jack Grealish aside with ease before Konate's goal vs Man City
Liverpool are through to the final of the FA Cup after beating Manchester City in a thriller on Saturday afternoon.
The Reds came racing out of the blocks and were completely dominant in the first-half.
Goals from Ibrahima Konate and Sadio Mane (2) gave Liverpool a three-goal lead after 45 minutes.
Jack Grealish and Bernardo Silva netted in the second half but Liverpool held on to win 3-2.
Liverpool took the lead in the match after just nine minutes.
Andy Robertson swung in a corner and Ibrahima Konate rose highest to head home, scoring his third goal in just three games in the process.
There were mis-matches all over the place inside the box.
Konate easily ran past Gabriel Jesus before planting his header into the back of the net.
Virgil van Dijk, meanwhile, was being marked by Grealish.
Grealish, just five foot 9, is considerably smaller than the Liverpool defender.
And Van Dijk just brushed his marker aside with one hand just prior to Konate’s goal, sending Grealish to the ground. Watch the moment below…
