Vince McMahon: WWE Chairman to appear on SmackDown tonight
WWE has announced that Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon will be appearing on tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
WWE issued a press release to the media this afternoon confirming that the 76-year-old will be appearing on tonight’s show on FOX.
The press release reads as follows.
STAMFORD, Conn., June 17, 2022 – WWE (NYSE: WWE) today announced that Mr. McMahon will appear on SmackDown tonight at 8 pm ET live on FOX.
The announcement was also made on WWE’s social media platforms with a promotion graphic, as you can see below.

This will be McMahon’s first appearance on WWE TV since WrestleMania 38 in April, where he wrestled his first match in just shy of ten years.
At the show, Vince beat Pat McAfee in an impromptu match, moments after McAfee had beaten Austin Theory, Vince’s protege on WWE TV.
