Video titled 'There will never be another Didier Drogba' has gone viral

On July 20, 2004, Chelsea completed the signing of Didier Drogba.

The Blues paid Marseille £24m for the services of the Ivorian striker, a big fee at the time.

But Drogba turned out to be worth every penny.

Drogba would establish himself as one of the Premier League’s greatest ever strikers across two spells with the Blues.

He scored 164 goals for the west London club and helped them to 14 trophies, including four Premier League titles and a Champions League triumph.

Drogba was a nightmare for defenders. He would often bully his opponents with his unmatched strength.

He was also good in the air, quick and always seemed to perform when it mattered most.

Drogba left Chelsea for good in 2015. A video posted by Twitter user @LDNFootbalI remembering how good for the Blues he was has now gone viral.

Titled: ‘There will never be another Didier Drogba’, the video shows some of the Ivorian striker’s best goals in a Chelsea shirt.

And some of them are just silly. Watch the video below…

Drogba receives the ball with his back to goal, spins past William Gallas with a wonderful touch around the corner and then lashes an unstoppable strike into the net with his ‘weaker’ left-foot.

His screamer from some 35 yards against Bolton wasn’t bad too.

He hit the ball ridiculously hard and it swerved all over the place. Jussi Jääskeläinen had no chance.

Football fans have been commenting on the video and you can view some of the reaction below…
