Victor Osimhen has told Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag what he wants to hear

There are three certainties in life: death, taxes and Victor Osimhen scoring goals.

The Napoli striker, 24, scored his 24th and 25th goals of the season on Sunday to help the Italian heavyweights further cement their position at the summit of Serie A with a 4-0 win over Torino. Napoli are now a whopping 19 points clear at the top of the table with just 11 games left to play, meaning they are on course to clinch their first league title since 1990.

Osimhen's double against Torino marked his second brace in his last two games and his 12th goal in his last 11 appearances in all competitions, meaning he is continuing to make enormous strides under boss Luciano Spalletti. The Nigerian is establishing himself as one of the most promising and sought-after strikers in Europe.

He is being linked with a plethora of clubs ahead of the summer transfer window and it is little wonder that Manchester United have earmarked him as a possible candidate to become the new face of their forward line. United, as reported by the Manchester Evening News back in November, have pinpointed Osimhen as a target and are interested in the prospect of bringing him to Old Trafford, even though Harry Kane is currently Erik ten Hag's preferred target.
