Venues confirmed for Springboks' two Tests against Wallabies Down Under

The venues for the Springboks' two away Rugby Championship Tests against the Wallabies were confirmed by Rugby Australia on Friday.

The matches against Australia will kick off the world champions' Rugby Championship schedule, with the first Test scheduled for Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on 10 August, and the second at the Optus Stadium in Perth a week later.

The last time the Boks faced Australia in Brisbane they suffered a 30-17 defeat in 2021. It will be South Africa's first Test at Optus Stadium in Perth and the last time they played in the city they drew 23-23 with the Wallabies at Perth Oval in 2017.

The Wallabies Tests will be followed by clashes against arch-rivals New Zealand at Ellis Park on 31 August and at Cape Town Stadium on 7 September.

The Boks will also face Argentina away at a yet-to-be-determined venue on 21 September, before concluding their Rugby Championship campaign against Los Pumas at Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on 28 September.
