Vaclav Cerny ‘doesn’t get it’ as Rangers fans name winger victim of festering Philippe Clement mentality

Winger Vaclav Cerny has been on of the few bright sparks for Rangers this season - but the fans are less than pleased with his latest social media move.

The Czech international rescued the Light Blues amid another lacklustre Premiership performance as he levelled the game against Dundee United to cancel out Sam Dalby's goal. However, Philippe Clement's men couldn't build on the equaliser and allowed rivals Celtic to extend their lead over Rangers to 11 points with the boos ringing out after the full-time whistle at Ibrox.

Amid rising anger from the Ibrox diehards with boss Clement, the 27-year-old has now taken flak after sharing his goal from the clash to his Instagram page with Jim Goodwin's side - despite failing to take all three points from the clash. One baffled punter posted to X sharing a grab of Cerny's Instagram story: "These players just don’t get it do they? A draw at home against Dundee Utd, and posting the 1 goal we scored. Dressing room full of losers."

A disappointed fan added: "I liked Cerny as well." Some were quick to put the blame at the Clement's door, chiming in: "It all comes from the manager." Another supporter added: "This club has a massive culture problem, from boardroom to management to coaches so many issues needs resolved."

It's not the first time Cerny has got himself in hot water on social media. The Wolfsburg loanee deleted his Instagram after the forward faced a backlash after telling the home support 'where to go' during their 1-0 win against Hibs in October after groans from the home crowd as he was robbed of the ball.
