Celtic's search for a new manager and the ongoing rebuild at Rangers is more than enough to create a bit of Hotline tit-for-tat as fans continue their close-season spats.
Maybe it's the warm weather as there are a few callers getting hot under the collar with the search for a new Hoops gaffer top of their list. Gary Stevenson, Newtonhill, said: "I think that maybe the Celtic supporters should calm down a bit. All those famous names mentioned as potential managers are pie in the sky. It's time to make up your new list of people who you have never heard of. Stop trying to behave like a big club."
Eddie Easson, Ballingry, said: "I don’t think there will be any movement on a new Celtic manager until next week. Celtic will be doing their due diligence and the right candidate will be chosen properly. I want someone who plays fast flowing football in the same style as Ange Postecoglou. Whoever it is will have to overcome the master coaches in Scotland who just want to pack their defences so they can put taking a point from Celtic on their CV."
Muir Fulton, Ayr, emailed: "Celtic fans keep going on about their tainted Trebles. How many Trebles did they win in the past 10 years when Rangers were wrongly put down the leagues? We have taken our medicine and also showed we are the greatest supporters in the world with 50,000 at every game and now I believe next year will be a level playing field again and we will see how many trebles are won moving forward."
