US Grand Prix: How to watch, schedule, weather forecast and all the key info

Formula 1 is back in the United States for the second time this season as the popular Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, welcomes the sport back for a 10th year.

It’s one of the most exciting events of the season with the US city always putting on a great show and they’ll be eager to double down on that this weekend with the anniversary in mind.

Max Verstappen will be looking to keep the title celebrations going, meanwhile, after taking the crown at Suzuka last time out, whilst Red Bull could win the Constructors’ title this weekend as well.

What’s all the key information for this weekend, though? We take a look now…

Sky Sports' dedicated Formula 1 channel is going to be the place to be if you have access, with them showing every session live and exclusive across the weekend.

Sky's coverage is impressive and very in-depth, with them also bringing the drivers' press conferences and those of the team bosses to viewers over the course of the weekend.

If you don't have Sky, though, Channel 4 also offer decent coverage, with them delivering free-to-air highlights later on in the day after the race has finished on Sunday.

With F1 heading from east to west, UK viewers can now go from an early start for the Japanese Grand Prix to an evening kick-off for the race in Austin.

FP1 takes place at 8pm UK time and lasts an hour on Friday, with FP2 taking place later on in the evening at 11pm UK time and lasting for an hour and a half.

Saturday kicks off with FP3 at 8pm UK time before the all-important business of qualifying at 11pm.

As for the Grand Prix, lights out is at 8pm UK time on Sunday, with 56 laps of the track scheduled.
