WATCH | What a race! All the non-stop action from the 2022 US Grand Prix

This past weekend's United States Grand Prix was one of the most exciting the sport has seen in recent years. From the word go, the action has been non-stop, culminating in a thrilling finale that saw old rivals Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton duel for the win with six laps remaining.

In the end, the Red Bull driver sealed his 13th win of the year, with Hamilton and his Mercedes team still searching for that elusive victory in 2022. After the race, Hamilton conceded that a win in 2022 seems unlikely but that they are focussing on next year and hoping to mount a challenge to Red Bull and Verstappen's dominance.

"It was great to have started third and been in a position to fight for the win, but on true pace, they (Red Bull) have been ahead of us all weekend," said the seven-time F1 World Champion.

"We're working on making a car that can fight [next year], but we've got a much, much bigger step and steeper hill to climb. Hopefully, it will not be impossible."

In the collection below, we revisit Hamilton and Verstappen's duel, as well as other incredible moments from the 2022 United States GP.

The best moment?

Several moments warrant contention for our best pick. Whether it's George Russell driving into Carlos Sainz at Turn 1 or Verstappen launching an attack on Charles Leclerc and Hamilton, there is plenty to ponder.

But perhaps the biggest and arguably best moment came when Alpine's Fernando Alonso drove into the back of Lance Stroll's Aston Martin. Alonso lined Stroll up for a pass in the run down to Turn 12, but his future teammate made a late swerve to the left and into Alonso's path.
