Urgent police appeal over missing boy Alfie
Police have issued an urgent public appeal for help to find a missing boy.
He's been named only as 'Alfie' and Greater Manchester Police haven't released his age. But he's been described as of 'small build' and around 5ft 7ins tall.
Alfie was last seen, revealed the force, in the Opal Grove area of Leigh, Wigan, at around 7pm last night, Tuesday. No further details have been revealed by the force, other than what he was wearing when he went missing.
Police said: "He was last seen wearing a green Under Armour puffer coat, grey Under Armour tracksuit bottoms, black Nike Air Max trainers and a black cap with HEX written on it.
"He is described as a white male, approximately 5ft 7ins, of small build with dark brown hair."
A photograph of Alfie is also being shared by the force on its social media channels.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts should contact police on 101 and quote log 3295-14/0223.
