Urgent appeal issued over missing 13-year-old boy

Police have issued an urgent appeal to trace a missing 13-year-old boy last seen in Tameside.

Riley was spotted at around 5pm on Hadfield Crescent in Ashton on Friday (December 20). Officers say they are becoming 'increasingly concerned' about his safety and are asking members of the public for any information they may have on his whereabouts.

Greater Manchester Police said he was last seen wearing a black Zavetti coat with brown fur around the hood, black Nike trainers with a green outline tick, and a dark blue Under Armour tracksuit.

In a tweet, the force wrote: "Can you help us find Riley from Ashton? He was last seen yesterday afternoon and we want to make sure he is safe and well.

"Anyone with information, please call us on 0161 856 9325 direct quoting incident 75 of 21/12/2024."
