Urgent 999 appeal over missing boy, 15, who may be in Manchester

Police have issued an urgent appeal for help to find a missing boy who may be in Manchester.

Alfie is missing from home in York. He was last seen leaving his home address at around 1.30pm yesterday (Wednesday, February 21), North Yorkshire Police said.

The 15-year-old is believed to be missing in the York area but could have travelled to Manchester or Leeds, officers added. Alfie was last seen wearing a blue, padded coat over a grey hoodie with a grey jogging bottoms and black Nike trainers.

He is described as being of slim build and around 5ft 7in tall. He has dark brown hair.

'Extensive searches' are underway to try and track down Alfie. Anyone who spots him should call 999 immediately, police said.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call 101. Quote reference number 12240032453 when passing information.
