Updated Jamison Gibson-Park returns for Ireland with Dan Sheehan on bench against South Africa

Jamison Gibson-Park has been named in the Ireland side to take on South Africa as Andy Farrell made just one change to his starting team to take on the world champions in Paris on Saturday night (8pm).

The scrum-half returns to partner captain Johnny Sexton after missing the 59-16 win over Tonga last weekend.

The front row of Andrew Porter, Rónan Kelleher and Tadhg Furlong remains the same, once again backed up by James Ryan and Tadhg Beirne in the second row for the Pool B clash at the Stade de France.

Caelan Doris starts, as expected, at number 8 with Peter O'Mahony and Josh van der Flier on the flanks.

Hooker Dan Sheehan has recovered from a foot injury to take his place on the bench.

In-form Bundee Aki will win his 50th Ireland cap alongside Garry Ringrose in the centre.

The back-three also remains the same with Hugo Keenan at full-back and Mack Hansen and James Lowe on the wings.

"A bit of continuity and I think it's a pretty good side, one that's suitable to take on the world champions, we hope," said Farrell of his selection.

"Dan Sheehan is obviously fit and raring to go, in fine condition, a world-class hooker, in my opinion and he gets his chance to get his tournament under way."

On the recall for Leinster 9 Gibson-Park, for Conor Murray, Farrell said: "[We want him to] just be himself and produce the form that he's produced for us throughout his time as an Irish international. The pace and skill-set that he brings to our game is something that we all enjoy watching."

The bench, except for Sheehan taking Rob Herring's spot and Murray for Craig Casey, is the same that featured last Saturday in Nantes.

Sheehan, Dave Kilcoyne, Finlay Bealham, Iain Henderson and Ryan Baird cover the forwards, while Murray, Jack Crowley and
