Updated Derry and Dublin name starting teams for league final

Derry have named a strong starting 15 for their Allianz League Division 1 final against Dublin at Croke Park on Sunday afternoon.

Mickey Harte's side topped the table after the group stage, with six wins from seven games - although their only defeat did come courtesy of tomorrow's opponents, who beat them 1-16 to 1-11 in Celtic Park at the start of the month.

Harte chose to rest some of his star men on that occasion, but it doesn't appear likely the former Tyrone boss will do so in the decider on Sunday.

The team, as always, is backboned by Slaughtneil and Glen players, with the former's Chrissy McKaigue anchoring the defence from full-back. Conor Glass, of All-Ireland champions Glen, and Slaughtneil's Brendan Rogers continue their imposing partnership in midfield.

In the inside-forward line, their scorer in chief, Slaughtneil's Shane McGuigan, will take up his customary position on the edge of the Dublin square with Niall Loughlin of Greenlough and Desertmartin's Lachlan Murray in the corners.

The Oaf Leaf County's bench includes Emmett Bradley and Gareth McKinless among the matchday 26.

Dublin's starting 15 for the showpiece game of the football league season has a slightly modified look about it which may be a sign that we're in for a pre-game change or two.

Cian Murphy, who has operated at wing-back throughout the league, is named at full-back; half-forward Sean Bugler lines out at left wing-back while there's another start for Skerries Harps forward Killian McGinnis at centre-forward.

A strong bench includes Peadar Ó Cofaigh
