Update to Sims 4 adds custom pronouns
EA’s popular life simulator Sims 4 has received a substantial update that includes new pronoun options.
When the video game company and Sims developer Maxis announced plans to add pronouns to The Sims 4, the long-awaited feature was first teased back in January.
Now, players will be able to set their Sims’ pronouns across all platforms, including completely custom ones, taking gaming to another level.
However, prior to this update, The Sims 4’s gender and pronoun settings were similar to those of previous Sims games, with each Sim locked to a binary choice between he/she and him/her.
Simulators can now have custom pronouns or even give them they/them.
