'Unfortunately' - Sky Sports man reacts as Leeds star has outburst on social media
Pundit Paul Robinson has claimed that it is difficult not to react to social media abuse after Leeds United forward Tyler Roberts hit out on Instagram calling out the trolls.
The Welshman was on the receiving end of some abuse from online trolls, and recently hit out to the haters on Instagram telling them to ‘grow up’:
Roberts has struggled to get regular game time for his side this season, having made just seven starts in the Premier League.
Robinson spoke to MOT Leeds News and identified that it is hard not to say anything back to the trolls, but also highlighted the level the Welshman has reached on the pitch for his side this season.
He said: “It’s very difficult not to [react].
“I don’t have any social media outlets because I wouldn’t want to open myself up for that criticism.
“When you are on a social media platform, it’s something that unfortunately goes with the territory.
“Everyone has an opinion on how you played and some people will take great pride in letting you know how they think you played.
“It has been a difficult season for Tyler because he’s not played as much as he would’ve wanted to, he’s not performed to the level he wants to and he has had criticism.”
