Unbeaten Griquas crowned SA Cup champions
Griquas won the inaugural SA Cup on Saturday by beating the Pumas 46-24 in the final in Kimberley.
Griquas went through the competition unbeaten to win their first major trophy in a decade.
Pieter Bergh's charges led from the onset, racing into a 29-0 lead in the first 25 minutes. They never relinquished the lead to clinch a memorable final played in front of a big crowd at their home ground.

The Peacock Blues, who sported a white kit on Saturday, avenged their defeat to the Pumas in the 2022 Currie Cup final at the same ground.
The Pumas fought back in the second stanza and the hosts had to withstand an intensive period of pressure from Jimmy Stonehouse's team.
However, Griquas' defence held firm to secure a relatively comfortable victory.
The SA Cup, started this year as a competition for South Africa's non-URC teams, serves as a warm-up to the Currie Cup.
