Ulster's United Rugby Championship game with Cell C Sharks rescheduled for February

Ulster face three away games in the BKT United Rugby Championship in as many weeks after their fixture against the Cell C Sharks was rescheduled for 25 February.

Ulster's round six match against the Sharks was postponed in October after an outbreak of gastroenteritis left them unable to field a side.

They will return to Durban at the end of next month, in between trips to Glasgow Warriors and Cardiff on 17 February and 4 March respectively. The game at Kings Park will kick-off at midday Irish time.

The rearranged match between the Emirates Lions and Glasgow Warriors will also take place on 25 February in Johannesburg (kick-off 2.10pm Irish time).

Ulster have lost five of their last six matches, with three of those defeats coming in the URC, which has seen them drop to fourth place. They suffered another late loss away to Benetton last weekend.

Dan McFarland’s side return to Heineken Champions Cup action on Saturday when they travel to France to face holders La Rochelle, who beat Ulster at the Aviva Stadium in December.

Watch Munster v Northampton Saints in the Heineken Champions Cup live on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player on Saturday from 2.30pm (kick-off 3.15pm).
