UFC London 2022: British Lightweight fighter added to the card

UFC London will be taking place this weekend and now a 155-pound Lightweight bout has been added to the fight card.

With this addition to the Undercard/Prelims, there are now eight contests scheduled to be taking place live on UFC FIGHT PASS.

Interestingly, this bout was added following the cancellation of a fight on the UFC 277 fight card, which is set to take place a week after UFC London on Saturday, July 31st 2022.

As confirmed by the official UFC website, a 155-pound bout between Mason Jones and Ludovit Klein has been added to the fight card this weekend.

The site noted: “Due to visa issues, Ignacio Bahamondes has been removed from his lightweight bout against Ľudovít Klein scheduled for UFC 277: Peña vs Nunes 2. As a result, Ľudovít Klein will now face Mason Jones at UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs Aspinall on Saturday, July 23 in London, England.”

Jones is a Welsh fighter with an impressive record of 11-1-0 (1 N.C), and this will be his fourth venture into the octagon after competing on three occasions back in 2021. Hopefully, he will be able to pick up another win on (nearly) home soil.
