UFC fighter has sparring session with 6'4 kickboxer & gets lifted with ease

UFC star Merab Dvalishvili was filmed getting dominated by the 6’4 Belarusian kickboxer Katarina Kavaleva in a recent clip circulating on social media, which even includes the latter lifting the former into the air with ease mid-sparring!

The clip, posted by @Matysek88 on Twitter, shows a little, flippant sparring session between Dvalishvili and Kavaleva in a gym.

And it seems fair to say that Dvalishvili’s renowned wrestling skills could not bring him any success against someone the size of Kavaleva.

Dvalishvili is seen targeting Kavaleva’s legs for a takedown, but the former kickboxing world champion easily thwarts the UFC star’s attack by picking up the comparatively tiny Dvalishvili and lifting him into the air!

The incredibly impressive move received a great reception on social media, with comments such as: “The way she just picked him up when he went for the single leg.”

Dvalishvili, the current no. 3 ranked fighter in the UFC bantamweight division, eventually brings Kavaleva to the ground by tackling her legs, a skill that he is renowned for in his fighting style.
