The Last Stylebender retained the 185lb belt in the main event of UFC 276 in Las Vegas, Nevada with a routine victory over Jared Cannonier, who he comfortably outclassed on the feet without as much as breaking a sweat.
In the co-main event of the evening, Alexander Volkanovski also successfully defended his featherweight title against Max Holloway in one of the most anticipated trilogy fights in MMA history.
But the performance of the night arguably came in the form of the tasty final eliminator between Sean Strickland and Alex Pereira, which the latter won courtesy of an incredible first-round knockout.
