U19 T20 World Cup: Legodi, Reyneke star as Proteas U19 Women outclass Ireland in Super Six
The Proteas U19 Women's side have moved a win closer to the knockout stages of the U19 T20 World Cup, overpowering Ireland in a shortened Super Six battle at Borneo Cricket Ground in Sarawak, Malaysia.
South Africa won by seven wickets in a rain-reduced T20 to remain unbeaten in the global showpiece and top Group 2 with six points.
Rain and a wet outfield delayed the start of the Super Six encounter as the game was reduced to 10 overs a side.
Chasing a mere 35 runs to win, a double strike by Jennifer Jackson (2/6) gave Ireland early hope as opener Jemma Botha was trapped LBW for four and Diara Ramlakan was bowled out for a duck.

Captain Kayla Reyneke, who starred earlier with the ball, finally got her opportunity with the willow as she strode to an unbeaten 16 off 17 balls.
Opener Simone Lourens scored a 12-ball 14 before she got a leading edge and was caught off the bowling of Lara McBride (1/6).
But 35 was never likely to be enough to deny South Africa's formidable batting lineup with Reyneke hitting the winning runs and easily completing the job easily for SA.
