Tyson Fury weigh-in confirms lightest weight in five years before Oleksandr Usyk fight

Tyson Fury has tipped the scales at his lightest in five years for his undisputed heavyweight world title bout against Oleksandr Usyk.

The heavyweight titans, Fury and Usyk, are set to clash on Saturday night in Saudi Arabia, vying for the first undisputed champion title in their weight class in a quarter of a century. Both fighters stepped onto the scales on Friday evening in Riyadh for the weigh-in ahead of the highly-anticipated fight.

Fury clocked in at 262lb, while Usyk was notably lighter than his opponent, weighing in at 223lb.

As Usyk took to the scale, he was met with chants of "You big dosser". The tension between Fury and Usyk escalated as they came face-to-face, requiring security to intervene after both fighters made weight.

"We're ready to rock and roll, fireworks tomorrow night," Fury declared before launching into a profanity-laden tirade aimed at Usyk's team, reports the Mirror.

"I'm going to knock this little f***er spark out," I'm coming for his heart, that's what I'm coming for. F*** his belts, I'm coming for his f****ng heart. He's getting it tomorrow, spark out. F*** him and f*** all of his team too, f*** the lot of them. They can all get it if they want too, s***houses!"

In response, Usyk addressed the Brit: "Don't be afraid, I will not leave you alone tomorrow. If I will be nervous, I won't win. My fans, I love you, see you tomorrow."

Fury stunned fans by choosing not to face-off with Usyk during their press conference on Thursday. The Ukrainian stared him down while Fury showed off his physique to the audience.

This event came a mere day after a team member of Usyk's expressed concerns over the condition of the ring's canvas, fearing that the seams could trip one of the heavyweight fighters
