Tyson Fury warns Anthony Joshua over £200m mega-fight as Gypsy King wards off any speed up stunts

Tyson Fury has sent a stark message to Anthony Joshua ahead of his bout with Oleksandr Usyk, stating that no antics will accelerate their potential £200million showdown.

Fury is set to face Usyk in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night, aiming to become the first undisputed heavyweight world champion since 1999. Joshua, who was defeated by Usyk last year, will be present at ringside after arriving in Riyadh on Sunday.

Despite the anticipation for a Fury-Joshua fight, Fury has made it clear he will first honour his rematch clause with Usyk before considering a match with Joshua next year. Joshua's path to Fury requires a victory in his comeback fight this September, likely against the winner of the upcoming Daniel Dubois versus Filip Hrgovic bout. The prospect of Fury and Joshua finally facing off could result in each fighter earning £100m, marking one of the most lucrative bouts in boxing history.

When asked about Joshua hyping up their potential clash, Fury remarked: "There's not much he can build because we have a two-fight deal, so he has to wait until it's all over then we can negotiate."

Fury also highlighted the influence of Saudi investment in making such fights possible, crediting His Excellency and Turki Alalshikh for their ability to facilitate major boxing events due to financial resources. He commented on the ease of arranging fights when money is no obstacle, saying: "Now the Saudis are involved and His Excellency is controlling everything, he can make these fights like that because money is not a problem.
