Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte: Carl Frampton says Fury is ‘too clever’

Boxing legend Carl Frampton has given his thoughts on the huge heavyweight title clash between Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte next weekend.

Within the context of British boxing, there are few fights bigger this year than Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte. The two behemoths will collide at Wembley Stadium on April 23 in front of over 90,000 fans with the WBC and The Ring heavyweight titles being on the line.

One man who knows a thing or two about world championship showdowns is the great Carl Frampton, with the 35-year-old serving as an integral part of the punditry build-up for this bout.

In an exclusive chat with GiveMeSport.com, Frampton spoke about the excitement surrounding the contest as we get closer to fight night.

“I think people are really excited. I personally, myself, am really excited. This for me is the real first big, big fight that I’ve done as a BT pundit. I did Canelo/Plant but that was from a studio in London, it’s not quite the same!

“To be at Wembley and to be there for a big stadium fight and the build up of fight week, I’m looking forward to it – really looking forward to it. I’m getting that same feeling from boxing fans, but Tyson Fury brings more than boxing fans, the average sports fan along with him and people are excited.”
