Tyson Fury shows true colours in rant about Oleksandr Usyk training camp rumours
Tyson Fury has shown his class by dismissing suggestions a poor training camp was behind his defeat to Oleksandr Usyk.
Fury will have the chance to claim three of the four heavyweight belts – Daniel Dubois now holds the IBF strap – when he faces Usyk in their rematch in Saudi Arabia on December 21. The Gypsy King came out on the wrong side of a close points decision in May.
The build-up to that fight, which was delayed after Fury suffered a nasty cut in sparring, saw suggestions of training camp issues, including claims he was dropped. However, the 36-year-old robustly denied any problems.

Speaking during a face-off with DAZN, Fury said he had enjoyed a “fantastic” camp and that he was beaten “fair and square” on the night. Tyson said: “Never once have I ever said I had any problems in camp because I didn't.
“I heard a load of d***heads talking s*** that I had a lot of problems in camp. But I didn't have any problems. I had a fantastic training camp."
Fury is frustrated by those looking for an excuse for the first professional defeat of his career, adding: "He beat me fair and square, give the man his props.
"I don't understand why people have got an excuse like, ‘I lost the fight because I didn't train great’. Or, 'I lost the fight because the chef didn't cook me the right foods’.
“He won the fight, that's it. That's the end of it. There's nothing more to say. There's no excuses, I had a fantastic training camp. I thought I did fantastic in the fight and he did fantastic.
"So, he got his result. Fair play, end of.
