Tyson Fury sees arch nemesis come back for more with a loaded combo of conspiracy theories

British boxing great Carl Froch has once again hit out at Tyson Fury and has questioned whether the WBC heavyweight champion's heart is still in the sport.

Fury was due to face Oleksandr Usyk in a mammoth showdown for the undisputed heavyweight crown this weekend in Saudi Arabia, but had to pull out after suffering a cut above his eye in sparring. The fight with Uysk has now been rescheduled for Saturday May 18, allowing the Gypsy King enough time to recover from his nasty cut.

“But to be fair to him, to have a cut that requires actual stitches, then it’s a genuine injury and the fight does need delaying. They’ve announced that it has been rescheduled for May 18th but I’m still not convinced. I just don’t think Tyson Fury’s heart is in the game anymore.

“The only thing that I’d say that’s conspiratorial around that cut is the timing of it, because that injury for me is not an acute injury. It’s not fresh. That cut is a week old in my eyes. It was not a day old cut when they did that video. Why have they done that? Maybe because they’ve panicked and left it a week to get a plan in place."
