Tyson Fury's explicit message on board for Dillian Whyte

World heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has shown why he should stick to having his hands in boxing gloves rather than becoming a poet with hilarious message to upcoming opponent Dillian Whyte.

The Ring and WBC title-holder fights Whyte on April 23, and in the build-up towards the fight, Fury wrote an insult on a whiteboard after his opponent no-showed for the pre-fight press conference yesterday afternoon.

A tweet from Paddy Power made a brilliantly funny comparison to one of the best boxers of all time Muhammad Ali, comparing his famous quote to Fury’s simple insult.

Ali’s quote is: “Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. His hand can’t hit what his eyes can’t see.”

Comparing this to Fury’s insult of: “White is a w***** 2022.”

It makes the Gypsy King’s insult even funnier when compared to Ali.

Fury also misspelled Whyte, either in attempt to try to frustrate his opponent, or mainly because Fury is not known for having a pen in his hand.

This triggered some arguments between fans in the comments below the Paddy Power tweet, some thinking he did it on purpose, whereas others think he just might not be the smartest athlete in the world.

This bout at Wembley Stadium will decide who will be crowned the WBC and The Ring champion.

Fury is looking to claim all the titles after his extraordinary trilogy win against Deontay Wilder, and was initially aiming to fight Anthony Joshua before Whyte.

However, after Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk beat AJ, it meant Uysk and Joshua were going to be unavailable to fight anyone else until they had their rematch.
