Tyson Fury reveals bad blood with former opponent Derek Chisora

Heavyweight boxing star Tyson Fury has explained why he isn’t happy with former opponent Derek Chisora.

At this moment in time Tyson Fury is a retired man after riding off into the sunset following his knockout win over Dillian Whyte. The triumph took place at Wembley Stadium in front of over 90,000 fans and, in many ways, was widely considered to be the ‘expected’ result for fans who have been following Fury’s work throughout the course of his career.

One man who didn’t think he was going to come out on top, though, is Derek Chisora.

The enigma known as ‘Del Boy’ got back into the win column earlier this month with a nice victory over Kubrat Pulev but prior to that, he was mostly seen giving his thoughts on other fights in the heavyweight division.

When it came to Fury vs Whyte, Chisora surprised a lot of people by picking Dillian to be the one who got his hand raised.

In an interview with talkSPORT, ‘The Gypsy King’ noted that he was actually quite hurt to hear his friend give such a prediction.

“I thought Derek did absolutely fantastic [against Pulev]. However, me and Derek Chisora used to be chum buddies. I went to Monaco to support him. I went to Hamburg to support him,” Fury said.

“Then, as soon as I have a fight he goes, ‘I’ll pick the other guy’. So, Derek Chisora can kiss my a*** and if I see him I’m going to punch him in the face.”

“If you’re friends with somebody, you back them. You don’t go with the other guy who you don’t like anyway, you go with your friend.
