Tyson Fury Responds To Conor McGregor Dig

Tyson Fury has hit back at Conor McGregor, after the UFC star went on one of his typical social media attacks at the boxer over his support for Khabib Nurmagomedov.

In the early hours of Sunday morning, perhaps as he watched Israel Adesanya beat Robert Whittaker, the Notorious turned his attention to Fury.

"Come back when u win a fight mush," Fury tweeted, "And the difference in me & you is i don’t get myself in trouble & people actually like me, your just a bully who hit old man."

Whilst Fury might not be as divisive a character these days, it's a little bit of a lie from the 33-year-old to claim he doesn't get himself in trouble.

It's been down to the fact that it took so long to get his latest fight negotiated, and even now we don't have a date for his world title defence against Whyte.

The Manchester born fighter has previously been in trouble over homophobic, misogynistic and antisemitic comments, leading to people not wanting him to be part of the Sports Personality of the Year voting in 2015.

However, despite all that Fury is certainly more well liked and less controversial than UFC's loudest fighter McGregor, especially in recent years.

The Notorious has been less and less active, although his current spell without a fight is due to an injury, and he has become less popular over the years.

He is expected to get back in the octagon sometime in the summer, although it's not yet known who his opponent will be as he attempts to once again become a champion. It might all come easier if he stays off social media for a while.
