Conor McGregor has left fans baffled after posting a video on social media of the UFC star appearing to sniff incense.

The Irish fighter filmed himself inhaling vapour from a device before demanding a butler pass him a bottle of water as well as some pills.

He then filmed himself drinking from the bottle, passing it back to the butler before smiling as he again picked up the air freshener-like device.

The video was accompanied by no further context and confused a host of fans, who questioned the latest behaviour of the UFC icon.

"What even is this?", one fan questioned.

Another asked: "Can anyone explain what the f*** is happening in this video."

One fan wrote: "Does anyone know why Connor is playing with his ma's air diffuser?" whilst another said: "Me drunk on a Saturday using cedar wood to manifest."

McGregor has made headlines this week after voicing his interest in buying Chelsea Football Club.
