Tyson Fury confirms retirement as he admits 'this is it' after triumph over Dillian Whyte

World heavyweight champion Tyson Fury knocked out Dillian Whyte in front of 94,000 fans at Wembley – before admitting it's likely to have been his last fight.

The 'Gypsy King' reigned supreme in London with an astonishing sixth-round uppercut ensuring he kept hold of his WBC belt.

And Fury, who had admitted before that he planned to walk away from boxing, confirmed Saturday's showdown was his last dance in the ring.

Speaking to BT Sport's Steve Bunce, Fury admitted: "I promised my lovely wife Paris that after the Wilder III fight, that would be it.

"And I meant it! We had a war, it was a great trilogy and I meant that.

"But I got offered to fight at Wembley, at home, and I believed I owed it to the fans, to every person in the United Kingdom, to come here and fight at Wembley.

"And now it's all done I have to be a man of my word and I think this is it.

"This might be the final curtain for the Gypsy King. And what a way to go out.

"A big thank you to the United Kingdom!"
